Scan Cable on PoE Switch
When a cable is connected with PoE Switch, router, PC, or other devices, don't worry. NF-918S can help you quickly nagivate the connected port.
Test After Scan
After you trace the cable, start the continuity test with one easy press.
Fast/Slow Cable Continuity Check
Run a continuity check by inserting the target cable. Press CONT to start. Open or short circuit, crossing, or other faults will be identified.
PoE Switch Test
If the cable is connected to a PoE Swithc or other devices, the continuity test of NF-918S will start and complete successfully as well.
PoE Core Connection
Determine the connection of PoE switch power supplies.
Optical Power Meter
NF-918S can test optical fiber signal power too. 6 wavelengths are available: 850, 1300, 1310, 1490, 1550, 1625nm.
Strong & Stable Indication
To see if the fiber-optic cable is broken of not, you can choose one indication mode from three. If the red light flashes as you set, the cable is good. Otherwise, you need to replace one.
NCV Detector
One-click identification of live equippment, indlucing wire, socket, etc. Avoid possible damage from strong electricity during checking or construction.
LED Lighting
A build-in LED light can be found on NF-918S Receiver. Even if you trace cables in dark places, this light helps you finish your task easily.
