Preparation Before Test
Insert batteries to the gauge and power it on. Use it on a smooth medal non-coating surface. The value is 0. The device needs no calibration.

Use the meter to measure the paint on every part of the car. If the values is slightly higher or lower than the average value (±50um), it's normal. Once it's largely different, that part is repaired or replaced.
